Into the Mix
I led reporting and production of two mini-series for the third season of Into the Mix, a production of Ben & Jerry's and Vox Creative. The first series shared the stories of Black communities in Louisiana's Cancer Alley enormous fight against petrochemical plants and the powers that protect them. The second series illuminated the attack on free conversations about race and inequality in schools and businesses, highlighting the stories of Floridians fighting the "Stop Woke Act". The season wrapped in November of 2024.

Inherited
YR Media x Critical Frequency

First launched on Earth Day in 2020, Inherited was a youth climate storytelling podcast. Running for three seasons, Inherited shared the multi-genre audio works of young people from around the world as they navigated the complexities of the climate crisis. Each season we'd mentor a cohort of storytellers and help bring their unique story to life. Inherited was a wildly special project and I am forever grateful to my incredible collaborator Georgia Wright, and the support we received from YR Media and Critical Frequency. Inherited wrapped after it's 3rd season in 2023.
Short Cuts
BBC Radio 4

Over the last few years, I've had the honor of making several short works for Short Cuts on BBC Radio 4. Short Cut was and is a beacon of experimental, poignant and boundary pushing short audio works. In 2024, the BBC cut Short Cut's from the airwave, despite resounding opposition. Long live Short Cuts!

Courses

Over the last few years I've developed and taught several online courses for those interested in expanding their creative audio practice. Most recently, I co-taught "Art of the Short Form" along side Talia Augustidis, hosted by Sound Path. We are hoping to continue teaching this course so stay tuned! I've also taught "Building an Audio Sketchbook", through the Salt Institute. This course is a creative, community oriented exploration of play in audio work. I've taught this course several times and it's a little different each time. I love developing curriculum and teaching students of all levels.
Short Audio Works

Beyond my "work" in audio storytelling, I continue to foster a creative audio practice. I am always doodling with sound and story and experimenting with new skills. Some of this play turns into published pieces, some stays in the session, and others I post to my personal soundcloud. I also expand beyond audio storytelling and have burgeoning visual arts, film, and music practices. Check out my Now page for more on that.
